Illegal immigrant child sex offender drags ICE officer with car, flees, then calls 911 to report ICE
A Guatemalan national convicted of sexually abusing his stepdaughter is now facing federal charges after allegedly dragging a deportation officer down a Bloomington street with his car during a violent immigration arrest attempt.
According to a criminal complaint, Roberto Carlos Munoz, 39, was charged with assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon—a vehicle—resulting in bodily injury.
The federal officer suffered deep wounds and severe abrasions after being dragged nearly the length of a football field, all because Munoz refused to comply with a lawful immigration arrest.
In December 2022, Munoz was charged in Hennepin County with repeatedly sexually abusing his 16-year-old stepdaughter. He was ultimately convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony.
At the time, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) issued a detainer to hold Munoz for deportation proceedings. However, local authorities ignored that detainer and released him back into the public, according to the complaint.
On Tuesday, federal agencies, including ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), the FBI, and Homeland Security Investigations, tracked Munoz to his Bloomington residence and attempted to execute an administrative arrest warrant for his immigration violations.
According to the complaint, around 8 a.m., agents pulled Munoz over after he left his home in a Nissan Altima. He refused to follow commands and only partially rolled down his window. When ordered to exit the vehicle, Munoz continued to resist.
According to the complaint, the ICE officer warned Munoz that he would break a window if he didn’t cooperate. After breaking the rear window, the officer reached inside to unlock the door. That’s when Munoz hit the gas…

The Pentagon has not issued a formal statement on the matter, but sources familiar with internal deliberations told JNS that McCormack was swiftly removed after senior officials were made aware of the posts, which were deemed “inappropriate and unbecoming of a senior military officer.”

Escaped Criminal Illegal Alien Tries to Turn Himself In – But NJ Police Won’t Let Him Because of ‘Sanctuary’ Policies
An escaped criminal illegal alien tried to turn himself in on Friday – but, New Jersey State Police refused to take him into custody because of the state’s “sanctuary” policies, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported Monday.
Joan Sebastian Castaneda-Lozada – one of four dangerous criminal illegal aliens who had escaped from an Immigration and Customs Enforcement Center (ICE) in New Jersey – was thwarted by New Jersey State Police when he attempted to surrender, due to the state’s opposition to enforcement of U.S. immigration law, according to a DHS press release:
“On June 13, 2025, Joan Sebastian Castaneda-Lozada, a criminal illegal alien from Colombia whose criminal record includes arrests for burglary, theft, and conspiracy to commit burglary, attempted to turn himself in to local authorities at the New Jersey State Police Bridgeton Station.
“Due to their sanctuary policies, the State Police refused to take him into custody because they do not work with ICE.”
Undeterred, Castaneda-Lozada successfully surrendered himself to FBI and ICE agents in Milleville, New Jersey two days later.
“Disturbingly, Joan Sebastian Castaneda-Lozada tried to turn himself into local authorities and was turned away because of the state’s sanctuary policies that prohibit law enforcement from working with ICE,” a senior DHS official says in the release.
“Thankfully, this criminal alien has now been arrested and is no longer a threat to Americans,” the DHS official reports.
While so-called “sanctuary” cities and states refuse to cooperate with federal immigration agencies, such as by refusing to honor federally-issued detainment orders, most make exceptions for dangerous criminals. But, actually refusing to allow a criminal illegal alien to surrender himself takes sanctuary opposition to federal immigration law to an extraordinary new level….
‘Assisted dying’ facility opens on campus of Catholic hospital in Canada
In a post for the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition (EPC), reporter Terry O’Neill writes that a government-ordered MAiD clinic has opened on the campus of St. Paul’s Hospital in downtown Vancouver, while another such facility is currently being built on the new St. Paul’s on False Creek Flats, three miles from the downtown location.
O’Neill also reported that two Catholic hospice homes now share space with MAiD facilities.
The Catholic healthcare facilities are run by Providence Health Care, which is operated by the Catholic Archdiocese of Vancouver.
Despite the fact that medically-assisted killing is against the teachings of the Catholic church, British Columbia’s provincial government reportedly forced the MAiD facilities on the Catholic healthcare system after relentless outside pressure in November 2023.
Though there have been no press releases or official announcements surrounding the opening of these facilities, O’Neill uncovered emails from Vancouver Coastal Health through a freedom-of-information application showing that the clinic on the St. Paul’s campus opened on January 6 of this year. Though the current St. Paul’s Hospital is slated to close in a few years, the new St. Paul’s, scheduled to open in 2027, will also have a MAiD facility on campus.
According to O’Neill, Providence Health currently has a contract in place with the provincial government stating:
- It will not commit abortions or euthanasia in its facilities.
- Patients who want either of these must first be transferred to the provincial system, Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.
Presumably, now that Vancouver Coastal has facilities on the St. Paul’s campus, such transfers will be much easier to facilitate.
“This is incredibly sad news,” EPC International Chair Alex Schadenberg said in an interview. “It’s sad that the unit is now operational. And I’m also incredibly saddened by the fact that the new St. Paul’s will also have a euthanasia clinic attached to it.”…

The lawsuit follows FEMA’s failure to respond to a February 11, 2025, FOIA request seeking:
- Records of payments and funding allocations — including documents, invoices, receipts, contracts, and financial records showing FEMA payments to NYC or related entities under the Shelter and Services Program (SSP) from January 1, 2023, to the present.
- Any records indicating whether these funds were used for “hotels” or other accommodations.
- Internal communications and directives — such as emails, memos, or other written exchanges between FEMA officials, DHS leadership, and New York City officials about FEMA funds for migrant housing.
- Any internal communications discussing whether these payments complied with federal policies and regulations.
- Policy and procedural guidelines — including FEMA and DHS policies governing the SSP program, eligibility, approval processes, and financial oversight mechanisms.
In February, acting FEMA Administrator Cameron Hamilton reportedly suspended payments to NYC for migrant housing and stated that staff who authorized the payments would be held accountable.

Illegal immigrant arrested after allegedly chasing down US attorney with knife in Albany
An illegal immigrant in New York has been arrested for allegedly threatening a U.S. attorney with a knife.
The incident occurred Tuesday in the state capital of Albany when Saul Morales-Garcia, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, allegedly approached John A. Sarcone III, a U.S. attorney for the Northern District of New York, with a knife at a Hilton hotel.
Morales-Garcia allegedly pulled out the knife and lunged toward the federal prosecutor, the Times Union newspaper reports. Sarcone retreated into the hotel.
Security camera footage reviewed by police showed Morales-Garcia wielding a knife and appearing to go after Sarcone as he ran toward the Hilton’s lobby. Morales-Garcia was previously deported, then apparently reentered the U.S. recently without authorization.
Sarcone told the news outlet that he had left his office shortly before the incident and was walking by the hotel, smoking a cigar, when he noticed Morales-Garcia.
“I got my eye on him, then I turn back and I’m in front of the Hilton, and I’m just standing there, and I’m looking at him … and he then starts yelling at me in his language that I don’t understand,” Sarcone said. “I’m smoking a cigar. I don’t say anything to him … and then he pulls the knife. He’s lunging towards me, and I’m still standing there with the cigar.”
Sarcone said he went back outside the hotel to watch the man as police were on their way.
“I didn’t want him to get away, and I yelled out at him,” he continued. “He turns around, and he starts yelling again … and then he pulls the knife out, and then there’s this (gesture) across his throat thing, like he’s going to slit my throat, and then comes at me again, and I ran back towards the hotel, and then he stopped, and then turned around.”…

After ICE removes illegal workers, job applicants flood meatpacking plant to replace them
Araid on a meatpacking plant in Nebraska has caused a surge in job applications following the apprehension of 76 employees who were detained and removed from the premises by federal authorities.
After just a few days, a dozen illegal workers had already been removed from the state or deported, while more than 60 were taken to a detention center, NBC News reported.
What happened after the Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid, though, defied a sentiment that has permeated across the country: that no American wants the jobs that illegal workers perform.
As Glenn Valley Foods mourned the loss of what the company called “family” members (referring to illegal employees), prospective employees banged on the doors looking to fill the roles that the company itself said were very hard to hire for.
“It takes skilled people that take pride in what they do,” company president Chad Hartmann told NBC News.
Still, the company’s entire waiting room was packed with people filling out job applications just two days after the ICE raid. Dozens of possible new employees, many of them Spanish-speaking, were coming in and out of the plant, according to the report….

Grim excavation begins at site believed to contain remains of around 800 babies
Irish officials have begun excavating the grounds of a former home for unwed mothers which authorities say contains the remains of around 800 babies and young children who died there.
“It’s a very, very difficult, harrowing story and situation,” Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin said Monday. “We have to wait to see what unfolds now as a result of the excavation.”
The former Bon Secours Mother and Baby Home in western Ireland — which closed in 1961 and was run by Catholic nuns — was one of many mother-and-baby homes during the 20th century in the European country. The homes housed unmarried pregnant women as well as tens of thousands of orphans, according to The Associated Press.
Historian Catherine Corless tracked down death certificates in 2014 for nearly 800 children who died at the Bon Secours Mother and Baby Home between the 1920s and 1961. However, she could only find a burial record for one child, the AP reported.
A mass grave was later discovered by investigators in an underground sewage structure at the home. DNA analysis found the structure contained the remains of infants and young children between the ages of 35 weeks gestation and 3 years old, according to the AP…
