From California to New Jersey, Muslim men are being arrested for supporting ISIS
From California to Kansas to New Jersey, young Muslim men are being arrested and charged with wide ranging plans to support Islamic terrorism and kill Americans.
The arrests are being made as Congress continues to highlight ongoing Islamic terrorist threats.
The U.S. House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence addressed ongoing threats pointing to three high profile Islamic terrorist attacks that occurred in March alone.
The U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security also published a “Terror Threat Snapshot” highlighting recent terrorist acts in the U.S. The majority are linked to or inspired by foreign terrorist organizations.
They include those who’ve provided material support to ISIS (the Islamic State of Iraq and al Sham (ISIS)), Hezbollah and al Queda, who received military level training from Hezbollah and al Queda, and whose stated inspiration is foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs), The Center Square reported.
Islamic terrorist cases are being prosecuted by U.S. attorneys in at least 25 states.
The latest two are in New Jersey and Kansas.
On Monday, a Muslim man living in Wayne, New Jersey, Mohamed Sagha, 22, was charged with attempting to provide material support and resources to a designated FTO: ISIS.
He made his initial appearance in federal court and was ordered detained.
“As alleged, the defendant sought to support ISIS and expressed interest in violence directed at targets within the United States, including places of worship,” U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Robert Frazer said. “Those who seek to advance the objectives of foreign terrorist organizations should expect a swift and coordinated response from federal law enforcement.”
According to the complaint, over the past six months, Sagha participated in online chat groups used by ISIS supporters to discuss potential terrorist attack targets in the U.S., including places of worship.
Last October, he met an undercover law enforcement official who he believed was a member of ISIS and expressed his desire to attack a National Guard location or a Jewish place of worship, sharing images and videos of potential targets near his residence, the complaint alleges.
He also repeatedly expressed a desire to travel to ISIS territory in Syria, failing to do so in March, authorities said. This month, he expressed further plans, leading to his arrest.
If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
In another case, the FBI arrested three young men between the ages of 21 and 25 in Kansas City, Kansas, and San Diego, California.
They were also charged with conspiring to provide material support to terrorism after they sent more than $2,000 to an individual they believed was a member of ISIS, authorities said. …
New bill could bar sex offenders from surrogacy by closing loopholes
Legislators are looking to close loopholes which currently allow sex offenders to have children through surrogacy.

The Backstory:
Last year, it was discovered that Brandon Keith Riley-Mitchell had, along with his partner Logan Riley, been able to obtain a child through surrogacy, despite being a Tier 1 registered sex offender.
The two men launched a GoFundMe page in 2023 to raise money for a surrogate to carry a child for them; once they had gained enough money, they used a donor egg and a separate surrogate mother, meaning the surrogate was not biologically related to the child.
They eventually created four embryos, and at least one of the embryos was implanted into the surrogate’s womb. She later gave birth to a little boy, which the same-sex couple then claimed as their own.
A video the men shared of their first year with the boy went viral, and Riley-Mitchell’s background as a sex offender was discovered.
It immediately caused widespread outrage.
While he was a teacher, Riley-Mitchell sexually propositioned an underage student; the Megan’s Law site for the state of Pennsylvania confirmed Mitchell’s status as a Tier 1 sex offender.
He had been convicted for child sexual abuse and possession of child sexual abuse materials.

Israeli man stopped at Cyprus airport carrying four human embryos

The man was headed to Mexico through Istanbul, but no approval had been given from the Health Ministry to internationally transport the fragile human lives.
In addition, authorities raided a local IVF facility in Lefkosa, also called Nicosia, the historic capital of Cyprus and the de facto capital of northern Cyprus, where the embryos are believed to have come from.
They arrested the facility’s director and a doctor.
According to The Morning Voice, the three men were brought before a court where their detention was extended to two days as investigators reviewed security camera footage and gathered statements. The outlet reported:

Officials in northern Cyprus stated that a company linked to the IVF centre had attempted to transfer the embryos before the required licensing process had been formally completed, implicitly acknowledging that a permit process had been initiated. Investigators are now examining whether the embryos were moved prematurely before approval was granted, rather than without any application at all, a distinction that could significantly affect the prosecution.
The Morning Voice explained that the decision to fly through Ercan Airport may have been deliberate.
Ercan Airport is not recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO); all direct flights to the airport originate in Turkey, and any international flights must touch down in Turkey first.
In this case, the man was flying from northern Cyprus to Istanbul before going to Mexico, which would have theoretically helped him evade international security…..
Decarlos Brown found incompetent to stand trial in Charlotte light rail killing
Decarlos Brown, the man charged with killing a woman on a Charlotte light rail train last August, was found incompetent to stand trial in federal court on Tuesday.
Brown was previously found incompetent to stand trial on state charges for the same crime.
He is accused of killing Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, 23, who was fatally stabbed from behind while seated on the train on the Lynx Blue Line.
Brown was arrested when he exited the train and was charged with first-degree murder by the state of North Carolina.
He was later indicted on federal charges of violence against a railroad carrier and mass transportation system resulting in death.
Mental health evaluators reportedly spent hours with Brown before determining that he is not fit to stand trial at this time.
During Tuesday’s hearing, Brown reportedly had an outburst in the courtroom, shouting that he wanted to sue the FBI and saying something about “material in his body.”
The ruling does not mean that the case is done or that Brown will be released.
Brown will remain in custody in a mental health facility, where treatment efforts will be made to restore his competency for up to four months. There could also be another hearing if needed to determine whether forced medication is constitutional.
If those are successful, efforts to prosecute Brown can move forward. If his competency can’t be restored, it is possible he could remain in custody under civil commitment.
Karmelo Anthony found guilty of murdering Austin Metcalf
A jury has found Karmelo Anthony guilty of murder in the death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf following a confrontation at a track meet after about three hours of deliberation.
Anthony, now 19, was charged in the 2025 death of Metcalf at a track meet outside of Dallas.
The case has drawn national attention and featured emotional testimony from more than 20 prosecution witnesses who were in court last week.
The jury only had to consider the single charge of first-degree murder.
Anthony faces a maximum sentence of life in prison for the charge of first-degree murder.
Since Anthony was a minor at the time of Metcalf’s death, the death penalty was off the table.
Judge John Roach Jr. said the jury may also find Anthony guilty of manslaughter instead of first-degree murder, which would have carried a maximum sentence of 20 years behind bars…

HHS probing CAIR’s alleged terror ties and what happened to $30M for Afghan refugee resettlement
The department is the latest to look into the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) amid accusations it has ties to dangerous groups in foreign nations including terror group Hamas.
In letters to the governors of California and Washington, where the $30 million was sent, HHS — headed by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — claims it has received information that “raises concerns about the business practices and ethics of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and CAIR-California.”
The June 9 letters to the two Democratic governors, written by the agency’s Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources, Gustav Chiarello, says HHS has been informed “there may be connections between CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood and its Palestinian branch, Hamas.
“As you may know, the United States Department of State has designated Hamas a Foreign Terrorist Organization. HHS takes these allegations very seriously as the department may not conduct business with entities with ties to such designated organizations.
The letter goes on to say that the allegations are being investigated and if proven could result in “suspension and proposed debarment.”
The governors of Texas and Florida both designated CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist organizations and transnational criminal organizations in 2025.
Washington, DC headquartered CAIR did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.
The group, led by National Executive Director Nihad Awad, strongly denies it has any ties to terror organizations, and says it only operates in the US. It has also denied any ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Approximately 43,000 Afghanis resettled in California between 2016 and 2025 using special humanitarian visas, with Sacramento being the most common area where they went to live, according to data obtained by Abridged.org.

Iran accelerates execution campaign against anti-regime activists amid internet censorship
Ever since the January uprisings against the regime, Tehran has enforced a bloody clampdown against its opponents.
The Iran Human Rights Society has documented 784 executions so far in 2026.
A representative from the organization told Fox News Digital that “these figures indicate a rapidly accelerating trend in executions since March,” and explained that “in particular, the execution of political prisoners has reached a level not seen in the past 37 years.”
A State Department official told Fox News Digital that “we are aware of disturbing reports about the recent surge in executions in Iran.” The official noted that “we strongly condemn the Iranian regime’s use of executions to punish people for exercising basic human rights, including Iranians peacefully protesting for a better life.”
The official said that “for decades, Iranians have been subjected to torture and sham trials resulting in executions and severe punishments, often with coerced confessions as the only evidence presented against them.”
According to information provided to Fox News Digital by the Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) on June 4, the Islamic Republic of Iran executed at least 18 prisoners between May 31 and June 1.
These included 12 prisoners hanged on May 31, and an additional six prisoners executed on June 1, one of whom was said to be “hanged in public with utmost brutality.”
The NCRI has counted a total of 32 executions between March 19 and June 1.
These included eight members of Iranian dissident organization People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOE/MEK) and 24 participants in Iran’s January 2026 protests.
In documents provided to Fox News Digital, the NCRI said on June 7 that there was “an imminent risk of execution” for five political prisoners in the Sheiban Prison in Ahvaz, four of whom were sentenced to death because they were charged with being members of PMOI/MEK….
Steve Hilton slams California election system for Spencer Pratt’s loss

Pratt, a registered Republican, has gone viral for his relentless and compelling campaigning style, which featured shared AI-generated ads and a knack for generating publicity.
Conservative figures nationwide have heaped praise on his run, which also attracted independents.
Hilton said Tuesday he would be open to Pratt potentially working in his administration should Hilton be elected.
“I’ll be honored and proud to have him work with me as the next governor in any capacity,” Hilton said.
The gubernatorial candidate on Tuesday also offered a longer-term solution to California’s notoriously sluggish vote-counting: Voter ID.
Full election results from last Tuesday’s primary for governor are still not out as of this Tuesday morning. A big reason for the slow results is that the state accepts mail ballots that arrive after Election Day as long as they were postmarked on time.
Voters have up to 14 days to cure certain signature or identification problems.
Hilton said a state voter ID requirement would be an essential fix.

Thousands of homeless voters were registered to vote at LA shelters — despite many not living there or the facilities not having any beds.
And as Spencer Pratt was eliminated by Nithya Raman in the mayor’s race on Monday night, it can be revealed that one drop-in center that received $600,000 from the socialist candidate had 185 registered voters at the address but offers no accommodations.
The revelations have prompted US Attorney Bill Essayli to say he will investigate the concerns uncovered by The Post and “follow the evidence” to see if the law has been broken.
A review of records shows 7,600 voters tied to homeless shelters and service providers.
Among them was St. Joseph Center in Venice, a homeless services drop-in center with 185 registered voters tied to its address.
The organization received a $600,000 taxpayer-funded grant awarded by Raman while she chaired the City Council’s Housing and Homelessness Committee.
Last week, The Post contacted her campaign and the center seeking comment regarding the relationship between the councilmember and the organization but has not heard back.
However, a photograph showing Raman presenting a check was taken down from its website following our inquiries.
Martin Rowe, a homeless man living in Venice, told The Post he was registered to vote during an outreach effort outside a Ralphs grocery store.
“They asked you all the questions,” Rowe said. “They gave you a paper.”
The largest concentration of homeless voters was at the Midnight Mission in Skid Row, where voting records show 1,160 registrations — but its website shows it only has beds for 84 men and 36 women.
One homeless man on Skid Row, Norman, said he’s witnessed voter registration efforts in the area for years and claims he had previously been paid to help sign up voters — and that cigarettes were offered to some people during the drives….
Trump’s SAVE America Act shows signs of life in the Senate despite Republican revolt
During the Senate’s marathon “vote-a-rama” to advance the GOP’s $70 billion immigration enforcement package, Republicans tried twice to attach the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act to the massive bill.
They failed both times, with a cohort of Republicans joining Senate Democrats to stymie the effort, which was destined to fail either way given that the amendments from Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Mike Lee, R-Utah, had to break through the filibuster.
Graham’s attempt was to attach the modified version of the SAVE America Act, which included several policy additions, like barring men in women’s sports, that Trump demanded months ago.
Four Republicans, Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Thom Tillis, R-N.C., voted against it.
Their defections prevented the bill from even getting 50 votes, a prerequisite for success if Republicans were to launch a talking filibuster.
But Lee’s attempt did hit 50 votes, with Collins flipping her vote to support the original version of the SAVE America Act.
Lee cheered the moment on X shortly after as the vote-a-rama still raged and noted that, with Vice President JD Vance serving as a possible 51st vote, the SAVE America Act could pass.
“That means that but for the Zombie Filibuster, the House-passed SAVE America Act would now be on its way to the White House for President Trump’s signature,” Lee said.
The moment was a big victory for the legislation, which thus far has wallowed in the Senate for months.
Conservatives like Lee have pushed Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., to launch a talking filibuster to grind down Senate Democrats and pass the legislation at a simple majority threshold.
