Grassroots conservatives demand refunds for Thune-liked donations over SAVE America failings

Grassroots activist Scott Presler has been warning Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) that if the GOP leader failed to pass the SAVE America Act by the end of April, that he — Pressler — would actively oppose the reelection of Thune-favorite Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX).
The incumbent senator is locked in a tight primary race runoff with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, with Paxton pushing Cornyn hard to ensure the voter integrity bill is passed.
Thune has been dragging his feet in what appears more and more to be an attempt to run out the clock on the legislation, claiming he does not have the votes to pass the bill, OR to nuke the filibuster to proceed with a simple majority.
The usual suspects, Sens. Susan Collins (R-MN), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and Thom Tillis (R-NC) stand in the breach, preventing action on a bill widely supported by the American people.
True to his work, Presler shared a post on X explaining to donors that they can not only request refunds from WinRed made in support of Cornyn, but also to a WinRed questionnaire signaled Thune’s backing for requiring proof of citizenship in federal voter registration.
“After teaching Republicans how to request a REFUND for donations to WinRed, I’m receiving messages from voters across the country: ‘I donated $100 [b/c I thought Thune was going to listen to the voters]. I just called Win Red and secured my refund. Thank you,’” Prelser said in the post….

Exposing the Globalist Agenda to Destroy the Family, Sterilize Humanity, and How to Escape It
Given that on your deathbed the only thing you’ll care about is your children, it’s kind of weird that our whole society is designed to prevent you from having any. Terry Schilling, the father of eight, just made a film about it, called Fathers Wanted. Available now on TCN.
Terry Schilling is president of the American Principles Project, the nation’s leading pro-family organization, and a father of eight who has spent his career fighting for the Family.
In Fathers Wanted, he follows his own father’s journey from addiction to U.S. Congress while sitting down with experts and everyday Americans to show how strong, committed fathers and healthy families are the only things standing between civilization and chaos.

Trump Says He Will Raise Tariffs on European Cars and Trucks to 25%

The announcement marks a sharp escalation in a relationship that had appeared to be moving toward stability after months of friction over metals duties, the Greenland dispute, and what U.S. officials see as a lack of support in the war with Iran.
“The European Union is not complying with our fully agreed to Trade Deal,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social
The Turnberry Agreement, named for the president’s Scottish golf resort where the pact was announced in July 2025, set a 15 percent ceiling on most U.S. tariffs on EU goods.
In exchange, the EU committed to eliminating duties on American industrial products and opening its markets to a range of U.S. agricultural exports.
The deal was widely described as lopsided in Washington’s favor, but European leaders accepted the terms to head off a threatened 30 percent tariff and to preserve broader diplomatic ties at a moment when the continent needed American engagement on Ukraine.
The agreement has faced a difficult path to implementation.
The European Parliament twice paused ratification proceedings, first after Trump threatened to acquire Greenland, and again after the Supreme Court struck down the administration’s tariff powers under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act in February.
EU lawmakers finally approved the deal’s enabling legislation on March 26, attaching a “sunrise clause” conditioning EU tariff cuts on continued U.S. compliance and a sunset provision that would terminate the pact in March 2028.
The legislation still requires agreement with EU member states, and trilogue negotiations are underway….

Can California Elections Be Saved? Voter ID Qualifies for the Ballot

Californians will get a chance to vote for more secure elections this November after a voter identification and citizenship verification initiative qualified for the ballot.
Following a successful signature-gathering campaign led by Assemblyman Carl DeMaio, R-San Diego, the ballot question, if approved, would require government-issued identification for in-person voting. Californians voting by mail would need to provide the last four digits of a unique government-issued identifying number with their mail-in ballot.
A new UC Berkeley pollopens in a new tab of nearly 6,000 registered California voters found that 56% of respondents support showing ID to vote.
“If Californians lose confidence in the integrity of our elections, we are at risk of losing faith in the foundation that upholds our system of government,” U.S Rep. Ken Calvert, R-Calif., told The Daily Signal in an email.
“When the majority of the House of Representatives is decided by just a few seats, like it currently is, just a few elections can shift the balance of power in Congress. That’s why I have been so motivated to support this effort, raise the money necessary to get us to this point, and fight to secure our elections with voter ID,” he added.
Calvert shared examples of how close previous California elections have been, underscoring the need for election security.
“It doesn’t take a large number of fraudulent votes to swing the results of an election. Last election, Republican Rep. John Duarte was defeated by just 187 votes; Republican Rep. Michelle Steel was defeated by 653 votes. I don’t know if the outcome of these elections would have changed if we had voter ID, but I know we’d have greater confidence in the result if we had better election integrity, including voter ID.”
According to The Heritage Foundation’s Election Integrity Scorecardopens in a new tab, California ranks second worst out of all states.
Their scoring is based on Californians’ ability to not have their ballot lost, stolen, or altered, and whether a legitimate vote could be negated by an “illegitimate voter.”….

OpenAI-backed 1X opens California factory targeting 10,000 home humanoid robots in year one

“This is more than just a factory opening, it’s proof that the future of humanoid robotics is being built right here in the U.S.,” 1X CEO and founder Bernt Børnich said in the announcement.
The Hayward facility is intended as a stepping stone to a larger plant under construction in San Carlos, California.
NEO is positioned as a general-purpose home robot, designed to operate alongside humans in domestic environments rather than as an industrial bipedal for warehouses or factory floors.
The robot is available in three colours (Tan, Gray, and Dark Brown) and offered through two commercial models: an Early Access purchase at $20,000 with priority delivery in 2026, or a subscription at $499 per month.
NEO is powered by Nvidia’s Jetson Thor onboard computing platform and trained using Nvidia’s Isaac open robotics simulation framework.
Demand has reportedly outstripped initial expectations. The company says first-year production capacity sold out within five days of preorders opening in October 2025.
1X raised $100 million in its push to bring NEO to market; the robot is designed with explicit safety constraints:
it is light, soft to the touch, and configured without pinch-points or other hazards, a deliberate choice given the company’s ambition to deploy in private homes rather than industrial settings, where heavier and harder humanoids dominate.
NEO learns household tasks through embodied AI, the technique under which robots acquire skills by interacting with their environment.
Customers can also manually demonstrate tasks using a VR headset and controllers, and the robot includes conversational functionality that Børnich has compared to ChatGPT….
Gavin Newsom roasted over $20M spend on solar-covered canal

Gov. Gavin Newsom took a beating online after announcing a multimillion-dollar solar-power plan — as he continues to catch flak for state projects that have ballooned into the billions of dollars.
Newsom’s office announced that the new green project is receiving a $20 million from the state to cover canals with solar panels in an attempt to conserve water while generating electricity.
“While the Trump Administration tears down clean energy in favor of fossil fuels, California is activating a pilot project for the nation’s first solar-covered canal,” he wrote on X. “We’re investing in new technologies to find more solutions for lowering costs, saving water, and preparing for a hotter, drier future.”
A flood of commenters seized on the announcement, citing Newsom’s past overspending on state projects.
“Cool. Is it going to cost $251 billion and never be built?” the US Oil & Gas Association posted on X, referencing the high-speed rail project.
“Can’t wait for my great great great great great great great great great grandchildren to attend the grand opening ceremony,” another wrote.
“Let me guess, it’s already $600mill over budget?” a third quipped.
“For 20 million dollars? I wouldn’t be bragging dumba-—,” yet another chimed in.
“You know who could use that water? A fire department!” wrote one critic, alluding to California’s wildfire problems.
Newsom described the solar project as an “innovative” and “outside-the-box” solution to the climate situation…..

US sanctions Iranian exchange houses involved in oil revenue transfers

The US Treasury Department sanctioned three Iranian currency exchange houses and a network of associated front companies on Friday, saying they help the Islamic Republic convert oil revenues and sustain its war effort.
The Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control said the designations target Opal Exchange, Radin Exchange and Tahayyori Guarantee Society, also known as Arz Iran Exchange, along with their owners and associates.
“Iran is the head of the snake for global terrorism, and under President Trump’s leadership, Treasury is moving aggressively, through Economic Fury, to sever the Iranian military’s financial lifelines,” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said.
“We will relentlessly target the regime’s ability to generate, move, and repatriate funds, and pursue anyone enabling Tehran’s attempts to evade sanctions,” he added.
The Treasury said Iranian exchange houses facilitate billions of dollars in foreign currency transactions each year and play a critical role because Tehran primarily settles its oil sales in Chinese yuan.
The department said the exchange houses help convert those revenues into currencies more usable by Iran’s military, partners and proxies.

OFAC said Iran’s shadow banking networks handle tens of billions of dollars in trade annually, much of it linked to overseas oil and petrochemical sales.
The sanctioned individuals include Pedram Pirouzan, Hossein Mohammad Rezaei, Masoud Mohammad Rezaei, Nasser Ghasemi Rad and Ehsan Tahayyori.
The Treasury said Pirouzan and Ghasemi Rad used citizenship from Dominica and Saint Kitts and Nevis, respectively, to obscure their Iranian ties while setting up foreign front companies and bank accounts.
OFAC also designated a series of front companies, including entities registered in jurisdictions such as the United Arab Emirates and elsewhere, saying they helped Iranian exchange houses conduct transactions worth hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of sanctioned Iranian persons.
Since February 2025, OFAC has sanctioned more than 1,000 Iran-related individuals, vessels and aircraft as part of the campaign, the Treasury said…..
15-year-old Black teen’s murder reveals the ugly truth about White guilt in America

We live in a White guilt America. For over 60 years, we have held Blacks to a different criterion.
We have compromised expectations, lowered our standards, and excused even the most horrific acts of violence because we fear being called racist. It is Black children like Jaden Pierre who often pay the price.
On April 16, 2026, 15-year-old Jaden Pierre helped organize a water balloon fight at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens.
He promoted it on social media. Around 300 teenagers showed up for what was supposed to be a spring afternoon of innocent fun.
Jaden’s father reportedly dropped him off with the words, “I’ll pick you up in three hours.”
Less than three hours later, Jaden was dead.
A viral video showed him being cornered and beaten by multiple teens as dozens of bystanders filmed. No one intervened. Then he was shot in the chest at point-blank range. The boy who organized the fun never made it home.
The water balloon fight became what authorities call a “teen takeover,” where gatherings organized by social media spiral into violence.
Police say 18-year-old Zahir Davis, an alleged BG4 gang member with a prior feud against Jaden, was pistol-whipping him when the gun went off.
How was a 15-year-old supposed to know that organizing a water balloon fight would get him killed?
Community leaders blamed gun violence and called for more after-school programs.
Roy Wilkins Park already had after-school programs. It didn’t stop Jaden from being killed there.
The evil of white guilt is that it can never look the real problems in the eye.
We know 18-year-old gang members should not roam free with weapons near minors. We know violence demands hard consequences and jail time, not excuses.
We know children need fathers, mothers, discipline, and standards. Yet we keep missing the problem.
Blacks make up roughly 13% of the population and account for about 55% of homicide victims and offenders.
Nearly 70% of Black children are born to unmarried mothers or raised in single-parent homes. These numbers exploded from the 1960s, tracking with the rise of White guilt in America.
When some hear “White guilt,” they imagine personal shame, something they can reject by saying, “I never owned slaves.” But you cannot feel actual guilt for sins you did not commit.
White guilt is not an emotion. It is the fear of being called a racist. It is the accusation that America is eternally racist at its core.
When my father, the author, columnist, documentary filmmaker, and former Hoover Institution Fellow Shelby Steele, first wrote about White guilt in the 1980s, he was describing what happened to America’s moral backbone after the civil rights era.
When White America finally admitted to the evil of slavery and segregation in the 1960s, laws changed and doors opened.
But many Whites also lost the confidence to apply American principles of personal responsibility, equality, and justice to Blacks, especially children……

World’s Gone Mad: Jimmy Kimmel hasn’t learned the ‘golden rule’ of comedy after Melania joke
Sky News host Rowan Dean roasts Jimmy Kimmel for his supposed joke towards US First Lady Melania Trump. “Jimmy Kimmel …. thought that this was a funny one liner to hit Melania Trump with,” Mr Dean said. “Get it? No, neither did most people.
“Calling a woman who has at least twice almost seen her husband gunned down, an expectant widow, is not only an appalling bad taste, but delivering the line only two nights before a third attempt on his life suggests that Kimmy still hasn’t learned the golden rule of comedy, timing.”
