ICE Arrests Biden-Released Illegal Alien Accused of Raping Child After Virginia Officials Freed Him from Jail
On May 1, ICE agents arrested illegal alien Walvin Victor Hugo Garcia of Guatemala following a court appearance in Fairfax County.
Hugo Garcia was first arrested by Fairfax County law enforcement in June of last year on felony charges of raping a child younger than 13 years old, aggravated sexual battery of a child younger than 13 years old, using a computer to commit a sexual crime against a minor, and distributing drugs to a minor.
ICE agents lodged a detainer when Hugo Garcia was first arrested, but officials in Fairfax County refused to honor the detainer and he was allowed to walk out of court.
“Governor Spanberger and her fellow sanctuary politicians in Fairfax, Virginia, refused to cooperate with ICE and released this child rapist from jail back onto the streets,” the Department of Homeland Security’s Lauren Bis said in a statement:

Hugo Garcia first arrived in the United States in October 2023 after having crossed the southern border near Eagle Pass, Texas. The Biden administration released him into the U.S. and in February of last year, he was ordered deported by a federal immigration judge.

Heated primaries draw record number of Georgia voters
More than 272,000 voted early as of noon Tuesday, setting a new record, according to the Office of the Georgia Secretary of State.
The number reflects a 3.7% voter turnout.
The number of registered voters in Georgia is 7,358,636, according to an interactive page on the secretary of state’s website.
More Democrats than Republicans cast their ballots. The statistics show more than 149,000 early voters are Democrats and more than 119,000 are Republicans.
The number of nonpartisan voters is nearly 4,200.
Bleckley County in South Georgia is experiencing the largest voter turnout with 11.2%.
Butts County, home to Republican Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, candidate for governor, has the second-highest turnout at 9.09%.
The two counties with the lowest early voting totals are in South Georgia. Clinch County’s turnout is 1.46% and Miller County is at 1.58%, according to the data.
Voter turnout is 28% higher than in 2022, the last time Georgia elected a governor, according to gubernatorial candidate and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.

Texas Dad Shoots and Kills Carjacker Who Tried to Drive Off With His Family of Eight Still Inside the Car
A Sunday afternoon trip took a terrifying turn for a Garland, Texas family when a stranger tried to steal their vehicle right out from under them, with seven family members still sitting inside.
The father, who was outside the car when the struggle began, fought back and ultimately shot the carjacker, killing him on the spot. The whole thing was captured on surveillance video.
Garland police say the suspect had already caused a scene before targeting the family, crashing into two other vehicles and then immediately jumping out to physically try to force his way into multiple cars across the parking lot near Highway 66 and Dairy Road.
Witnesses say his behavior was visibly erratic and alarming well before things escalated to a deadly confrontation.
After nearly a full minute of struggling with the father while trying to drive the car away with the family still inside, the carjacker was shot by the father, who was standing outside the vehicle near the passenger side door.
Police arrived to find the suspect dead and the family shaken but physically unharmed.
Garland police say they do not expect to file charges against the father.
Lt. Pedro Barineau told reporters the incident appears to be a clear case of self-defense, noting that the whole ordeal unfolded extremely quickly and that the father had no way of knowing whether the suspect was armed…
