Ohio ‘House of Horrors’ Siders family had at least 3 teen marriages: Report
Marriage and birth records reviewed by The Columbus Dispatch show at least three members of the Siders family wed while still teenagers themselves — including the woman now accused, alongside three relatives, of confining 16 children in filthy conditions inside a Vinton County home.
Elizabeth Russell was just 15 when she wed Gary Siders Jr. in West Virginia in 2008. By May of that year, two months after the wedding, she had given birth to the first of what would become 18 children over the next 17 years.
She isn’t the only young bride in the family.
State records show Tessi Wright was 14 and pregnant when she married Richard E. Siders, then 48, in Gallia County, Ohio, in 2002, per the Dispatch.
Tessi Siders later told The New York Times that her late husband was a cousin of Gary Siders Sr.
A year later, in the same county, 15-year-old Virginia Siders married Joshua Saunders, per the Dispatch.
Gary Siders Sr., his wife Christina, their son Gary Siders Jr., and daughter-in-law Elizabeth have all pleaded not guilty to felony child endangerment charges.
Investigators allege the four kept 16 children — ranging from toddlers to teenagers — packed into a 12-by-12-foot room littered with feces and trash for years before the children were discovered and removed from the home.
NewsNation affiliates WOWK and WCMH have obtained birth records for four of the 16 rescued children, including the oldest, which list Elizabeth Siders as their mother and Gary Jr. as their father.
WOWK and WCMH can not definitively comment on the parentage of the remaining children, and Archer said he does not “know that we have all of their birth certificates.”…

Millions of Americans are breathing toxic air this week because our northern neighbor won’t do the basic forestry work that prevents catastrophic wildfires. Controlled burns clear deadwood and underbrush before it becomes fuel for infernos.
Canada has chronically underfunded and underutilized them. But you won’t read that in The Guardian or Yahoo News Canada. Both outlets covered the smoke event extensively — the health warnings, the orange skies, the mask distributions — and neither breathed a word about the policy failure that made it inevitable.
Here’s the scope of what Americans are dealing with.
More than 148 active fires are burning across Ontario alone, with 69 classified as out of control, according to Ontario’s provincial wildfire dashboard.
The smoke drove Chicago to the worst air quality in the world Thursday evening, with Detroit and Minneapolis close behind, per IQAir’s global rankings.

Connecticut Teens Fight Off Knife-Wielding Attacker, Save Themselves
Two teenage girls at a Connecticut state park fought off a knife-wielding man who tried to drag them into the woods, proving once again that capable Americans don’t wait to be saved — they save themselves.
The incident happened Monday at Kettletown State Park in Southbury. Prosecutors say 23-year-old Darius Moreno confronted the girls while armed with a knife, threatened to sexually assault and rob them, and attempted to pull them off a trail into a wooded area.
One girl was forced to the ground; the other was grabbed around the neck. Neither surrendered.
According to court testimony reported by AL.com, one of the teens broke free and started throwing rocks at Moreno. The repeated blows gave the second girl her opening. Both ran and found help before law enforcement ever arrived.
Moreno was later arrested and faces a stack of felony charges: attempted sexual assault, robbery, assault, strangulation, unlawful restraint, interfering with an emergency call, carrying a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct.
A judge set bond at $250,000. Court records indicate Moreno had been living in his vehicle and was from out of state. Prosecutors said he made statements to investigators about his actions and his sexual interests — details that didn’t stop the establishment press from treating this as just another blotter item.
AL.com covered the facts straight, but you’d be hard-pressed to find many outlets amplifying the real lesson: these girls weren’t rescued by a government program, a park ranger on every trail, or some politician’s public safety promise.
They fought. They won. They walked away.
The Lincoln Journal Star, meanwhile, ran a separate story on a sexual assault investigation at a park in Alliance, Nebraska — a different incident entirely, but one that underscores the same reality. Parks across the country are not secured zones. They can’t be.
The question isn’t whether government can protect you everywhere — it obviously can’t. The question is whether you’re allowed, equipped, and willing to protect yourself when it matters.
Moreno is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The investigation continues. But the outcome of that Monday encounter was decided not in a courtroom, but on a trail, by two teenagers who refused to be victims.
The nanny state didn’t show up. Those girls did.
What Happened In The World’s First Humanoid Robot Fight
EngineAI has launched what it describes as the world’s first humanoid robot knockout tournament in Shenzhen, China, featuring 32 teams competing with its T800 humanoid robots.
According to the report, the event drew widespread attention after a robot named “White Eagle” kicked the head off its opponent, “Matador,” in one of the competition’s most widely shared moments.
The report said the T800 is a general-purpose humanoid robot weighing between 75 and 85 kilograms and priced at about $40,500.
(The machines are equipped with active cooling systems and 360-degree omnidirectional radar, enabling them to perform complex martial arts movements as part of EngineAI’s efforts to promote robotics innovation and competitive development.)
According to the report, the tournament comes amid growing international debate over the role of advanced robots, following renewed calls by United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres for legal safeguards against fully autonomous weapons.
Industry observers said such competitions could help increase public understanding of humanoid robotics, while the tournament’s winning team is set to receive a championship belt valued at $1.44 million.
Europe Requires Cameras in Cars To Monitor Drivers
So, as Americans debate the wisdom of drunk-driver kill switch mandates for cars, their counterparts in Europe now require that new vehicles include in-car cameras that constantly monitor drivers.
The result is an escalating race in government-dictated automobile surveillance that we’ll all have to pay for, even if we plan to bypass or sabotage it once we’re off the lot.
“Thanks to the EU’s General Safety Regulation, many safety systems have already been mandatory for all newly registered cars and vans since 2024,” the European Commission boasted earlier this month.
“Starting on 7 July 2026, these vehicles will now be subject to even more advanced safety requirements.” Among the list of mandated technologies car companies must include at customers’ expense is an “advanced driver distraction warning system to keep drivers focused.”
The regulation specifies that “driver drowsiness and attention warning and advanced driver distraction warning systems shall be designed in such a way that those systems do not continuously record nor retain any data other than what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed within the closed-loop system.” An explanatory memorandum adds that the “requirement does not forbid the ADDW system to use data from the camera(s) equipped in the vehicle, it forbids the identification of the person by the ADDW system.”
Despite assurances about not continuously recording or retaining data, this means that cars are expected to constantly monitor drivers and prod the ones who are allegedly drowsy or distracted.
The ADDW system uses infrared cameras, mounted on or around the steering column, to monitor drivers’ heads and eyes for signs of inattention. It sounds an alert when it detects a supposed problem…
Vance Takes Shots At Senate On Joe Rogan Episode For Delaying SAVE Act
Vice President JD Vance criticized the U.S. Senate for delaying the SAVE America Act during an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast that dropped on Wednesday.
When the conversation turned to mail-in ballots and fraudulent voting, Rogan asked why voter ID wasn’t required in elections. Vance jumped in with a response.
“So, we are right now trying to pass the SAVE America Act,” the vice president said.
“One of its main provisions is a requirement that you do voter ID. And we actually have, I think, a majority of the Senate that would support it. But this is just weird Senate procedural bulls—. There’s a subsegment of people who want voter ID but won’t blow up the filibuster in order to achieve it.”
He went on to explain why certain senators are clinging to the filibuster, noting the difference between items that require 50 votes, instead of 60, to pass.
“What we have tried to persuade the Senate to do is to treat the voter ID as something that can fall within the 50-vote threshold,” Vance said. “And there is no law, there’s no provision in the Constitution.”
“There are senators who are so attached to the idea that budget is 50, [but] non-budget is 60, that they’re quite literally willing to prevent voter ID in America.”
During the exchange, Rogan said that Democrats encourage cheating by using fear tactics.
“I think they cheat, and I think they’ve been doing it forever, and I don’t think there’s any other reason why you would have no voter ID,” Rogan said.
“They try to say it’s racist to have voter ID. Like, what are you talking about? Do you think other races are incapable of going to the DMV? That’s insane. That’s racist,” he added.
Rogan held the top podcast for the first quarter of 2026, according to Forbes. “The Joe Rogan Experience” has 21 million subscribers on YouTube alone.

HORROR: Armed Youths Viciously Beat and Rob Helpless Elderly Man Outside a 7-Eleven in Baltimore (VIDEO)
A sickening video has emerged showing a vicious and horrific beatdown of a helpless old man in one of the most crime-ridden cities in America.
As CBS News reported, the Baltimore Police Department released surveillance footage on Thursday showing six armed young men beating the absolute tar out of a 74-year-old man outside a 7-Eleven on the northwest side of the city.
Specifically, the incident occurred at 3:24 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, in front of the store on Liberty Heights Avenue, across from Mondawmin Mall.
Footage shows the victim standing outside the 7-Eleven entrance when two of the thugs run up to him with a firearm.
Four other hoodlums later joined the group. They all start shoving the old man and throwing unknown items at him before knocking him to the ground.
They proceed to pound the victim in the head and kick him several times while he’s on the ground.
The thugs flee after several minutes while the old man struggles to get up….
Jay man detained on charges of transporting child pornography in New York
Leon was arrested on June 23 after ten Cyber Tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to an investigation. U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul J. Evangelista ordered Leon’s detention on June 30, stating that he is a danger to the community.
